Masjid Sultan Ismail, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia – 20th February 2024 In a significant event at the main prayer area of Sultan Ismail Masjid, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), the Principal of Kolej Dato’ Onn Jaafar (KDOJ), representing the college, participated in the launch ceremony of the Ihya’ Ramadan Fund and Sponsorship to liven up the College Surau. The Principal was honored to receive the sponsorship, officiated by the esteemed Vice Chancellor of UTM, Prof. Datuk Ir Ts Dr Ahmad Fauzi Ismail, accompanied by the Director of UTM Islamic Centre, Prof. Madya Dr. Ahmad Bin Che Yaacob.

The sponsorship, provided by the unit of charity and Zakah of the Islamic Centre, aims to enliven the Surau and support various Vibrant Ramadan Programs. The Ramadan Fund UTM 2024 is dedicated to funding programs throughout Ramadan 1415H/2024H. Contributions from the public are warmly welcomed to support initiatives such as the Iftar Program for 29 days, Suhoor Program for 14 days, Tarawih Prayer Program for 29 nights, Qiyamullail Program for 14 nights, and the Tadarus Program, involving the daily recitation of the Quran throughout the month of Ramadan.
