The KDOJ student committees, under the direction of the programme director, Mr. Khairol Izzul Firdaus, planned and executed a beautiful Eid celebration that was rich in multiculture, friendship, and good cheer. The purpose of the gathering was to bring the people of KDOJ and Tun Ghafar Baba closer together and encourage them to work together. To set a spiritual tone for the evening, Dr. Diya, a KDOJ fellow, conducted a brief invocation to Allah at the beginning of the celebration before the dinner. In his welcoming remarks, Principal Dr. Mohd Amri emphasised the importance of Eid celebrations and extended invitations for future collaboration and cooperation. Plus, there was a fortunate draw where people could win cool things, so the celebration was even more exciting for everyone.
Special appreciation was also extended to Mr. Khairol and his team members for meticulously designing the program. A heartfelt thanks was extended to the fellowship team for their invaluable contributions to the event’s success.
The Eid celebration organized by KDOJ student committees was a resounding success, fostering a sense of unity, cultural appreciation, and community spirit. The event exemplified the spirit of Eid and showcased the collaborative efforts of all involved.
A polite request was made for assistance in cleaning the futsal court post-event, emphasizing the importance of collective responsibility in maintaining the premises.
